Nick Mark, President of DC Home Systems, serving MA, ME and NH accepted awards for Best Home Cinema and Best Special Project at the national Home Technology Professionals Award celebration hosted by CEDIA, the industry’s leading conference in residential technology, on September 6th in San Diego. Entries for consideration are judged by acclaimed industry technical experts. The CEDIA Awards, which celebrate the many ways technology enhances the home, recognized the work of DC Home Systems on a national level as leaders in the home technology industry, an ever-growing market for homeowner’s desiring comfort, convenience and simplicity in their home experience.

As part of the awards ceremony, the CEDIA Award Committee also entered DC Home Systems in the global competition (Update-We Won!)-see the article and pictures of the Best Home Theater in the tough global competition here.

Matt Nimmons, managing director at CEDIA EMEA, commented: “We have been overwhelmed with the standard of the submissions this year. The standard increases every year and it’s great to see the amount of professionalism and technical excellence our members continue to offer their clients.”

In a recent WGME news story, Tom Meissner, Portsmouth resident, said of the home automation system designed and installed by DC Home Systems, “You sort of forget how seamless it is and it just becomes part of your everyday convenience.”

“We don’t do this for the ‘Gee Whiz’ factor. We do this to make life simpler” says DC Home Systems Project Engineer, Glen Ervey.

DC Home System’s award winning Home Cinema project is also a finalist in the global CEDIA competition to be hosted in London on September 29, 2017.
