Mark Peterson has been a prominent figure in the technology sector since his graduation from George Mason University in 1987. He began his career at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Research Extension (MITRE) where he integrated one of the first network connections to the Internet (ARPAnet). After a stint at MITRE, he joined Sun Microsystems as a Systems Engineer, leading significant federal projects for intelligence and defense agencies. Seeking to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions, he founded ComPath in the early 1990s, pioneering the transformation of cable television plants into Internet broadband networks, growing the company to $18 million in seven years. Despite ComPath’s closure due to the 2000 market crash, Mark launched Digital Homes, focusing on smart home and cloud computing solutions.
Now, partnering with Daisy, Mark aims to provide integrated technical solutions to a wider audience, leveraging Daisy’s expertise in backend support and marketing alongside Digital Homes’ existing technical depth. Their collaboration looks to establish enduring customer relationships while meeting evolving technological needs.
